Manual Style of Writing

Due: In your process blog, post 3 tips from the Manual of Style that you think are important for wikitravel writers, and explain why. In another process blog post, using what you learned from the manual of style and the markup page, draft at least 3 potential entries for your place. 1. WHAT IS AN ARTICLE?The author needs to understand what topics are qualified for an article. Starting with the SLEEP test. You can't talk or write about what makes you happy, or inform about a place that is fun to visit. If I can't sleep there, I'm not attending. Although there are exceptions, the important thing is knowing what to write about.  2. LISTINGSAfter deciding on your article, it needs a list of attractions and events. Things to DO, SEE, EAT, DRINK, SLEEP, and perhaps other miscellaneous, yet appropriate Travelers are going need activities and food to make their visit enjoyable. 3. NEUTRALITY OF MEDIUMJust be honest. Be fair. Don't sugarcoat a bad environment or site; include the ills. Don't hype up a good one either; don't leave them disappointed. If a place is really THAT bad, don't talk about it.Travelers want a place the author would go to. Include a warning in the article if needed. Your travelers are adults. If they decide to go, they can protect themselves. A little honesty can't hurt anyone. Don't be bias towards the good, and don't hide the bad. Include the best of both and let your travelers to decide.
